Interior feature walls
Give one wall a different presence without adding a busy pattern. A decorative plaster finish can bring quiet movement to a living room, a bedhead wall or an entry, with the surrounding surfaces left simple.

Hand-applied interior finishes
A wall with depth, not distraction. Explore decorative plaster for interior feature walls, carefully framed panels and smooth trowel finishes that catch the changing light.
Discuss your finishFinish inspiration — generated illustration, not a completed project photograph.
Colour is only one part of a wall finish. The way a surface holds light, the trace of the trowel and the balance between quiet areas and soft movement all shape how a room feels.
Venetian plaster is a layered, trowel-applied decorative finish. Depending on the selected system and application, the result may have a gentle sheen or a more polished appearance. We start with the room and the look you want, rather than assuming every wall should shine.

A defined panel creates a smaller, deliberate area of texture. We can discuss the proportions, edges and placement of plaster-finished panels so the detail works with your joinery, furniture and room layout.

Smooth does not have to mean visually flat. Trowel-applied layers can leave subtle tonal variation and fine surface movement. The amount of movement and sheen is part of the finish discussion, not a one-size-fits-all result.
Before the first coat
A decorative coating needs a suitable base. We discuss the existing surface, the size of the area and the preparation needed before settling on the finish. Edges, corners and the meeting points with cabinetry deserve the same attention as the centre of the wall.
Window light and wall lighting can make the same texture read differently. Bring photos of the room and any inspiration for colour, movement or sheen.
Discuss a representative sample before committing to the whole area. Hand application creates variation; a sample establishes the direction, not an identical repeated pattern.
For a splash-prone or frequently touched surface, suitability, protection and care depend on the selected system. These need to be confirmed for your project rather than assumed.
We discuss Venetian and decorative plaster projects throughout the Sunshine Coast, from Noosa and Coolum to Maroochydore, Buderim and Caloundra, and inland through Palmwoods, Maleny and Montville.
Tell us your Sunshine Coast suburb, the approximate wall or panel size and the finish you are drawn to. We can discuss the next step for your interior.
