Stains, swollen joints and softened plasterboard need more than a fresh coat of paint. Once the leak is repaired and the area is dry, we can assess what can stay and what needs replacing.
From an opening left by a leak investigation to a larger damaged section, we work out the repair area, fit suitable plasterboard and finish the joins into the surrounding ceiling.
Setting and sanding prepare the repaired surface for its final finish. We can also discuss internal painting, including whether repainting the whole ceiling will give a more consistent result.
A roof, plumbing or air-conditioning leak needs to be fixed by the appropriate trade before plastering begins. Covering a damp ceiling can hide a problem that returns later. We discuss the condition of the plasterboard and the next step once the source is dealt with.

Ceiling and water-damaged plasterboard repairs for coastal and hinterland homes, including Noosa, Coolum, Maroochydore, Buderim, Caloundra, Nambour, Maleny and Montville.
